Have trouble visualizing? Try this!
I'm guessing I'm not the only one that has had trouble with visualization. Journaling I'm good. Meditating I can do. Exercise I've got down, but visualizing has always been difficult for me. I have been really working on this, as I know it can change the trajectory of your life.
The act of actually feeling the way you want to feel in the moments to come is key to success.
But what if you can't see it?
This was what was so difficult for me. I couldn't picture it in my head no matter how hard I tried! I had a hard time seeing myself in situations. Plus, my mind has a natural tendency to go negative. Hence why I do the work I do. All the stuff I teach is what I work on the most, and what I have shifted in my life. I have really had to work hard on not thinking the worst of situations, in fact I still catch myself from time to time.
So yeah, cut to the chase!!!
Instead of sitting with your thoughts and seeing it in your head, grab your journal and literally write it out. The best time to do this is the night before so it's fresh in your head before you close your eyes. I typically plan out my day the night before, so this is a perfect time to start this work. Once you have the day planned and you know what is going to be on your plate start writing out what your day will be like in as much details as possible. Detail everything from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed. The more detail the better, meaning what you will wear, the feelings you will get, the people that will be there, the smells the sights etc! If there is a part of your day that you know could be stressful, write down how you are going to deal with the stress.
Ladies, this is a game changer!!
Full disclaimer, you have to believe what you are writing. You have to believe that this is how you want your day to go. As much as you can focus on the feelings you will have that day the better!
Try it! What have you got to lose?!?! Be careful what you visualize on paper!
If you try this out, I would be so grateful to hear how it went! Or better yet, share on social media and tag me! Let's start a movement!!
Much Love,
