I'm always looking for something new and exciting to cook for my little one for breakfast.  Healthy is a must, and convenience is always a plus--well I have found a delicious, easy recipe that even me and my hubby like!!  Here it is.  Feel free to play around with the recipe--you can add just about anything.  I started making these for Kensie when she was about 9 months old.  They are perfect for finger foods, and awesome for a busy mom to grab real quick if breakfast or a snack isn't going to happen.  She still enjoys them at 21 months old, so they are a keeper! Ingredients:

1 banana

1/2 cup quinoa flakes

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (I didn't put this in when she was an infant)

handful of raisins (I didn't put those in when she was an infant)

Pre-heat oven to 350.  Place all of the ingredients in a bowl.

Mash the ingredients with a fork, until completely mixed.

Make little balls about the size of a spoon and place them on the sprayed cookie sheet.  When she was an infant I made them longer so she could hold them in her hand.

Place them in the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes.

And Wa-la!!!!!
