Must Haves for Healthy Living!

Hello!  Hope you all are having an amazing week so far!! I've had a lot of you asking about workout gear and what is necessary.  If you have been following me for a while, you know that we have a pretty extensive gym in our basement.  We have been adding to this gym for over 10 years!  We knew that when we had kids working out would be a lot more difficult so we decided to slowly add to our gym every so often.  To us it was a great investment.  At this time in our lives, we don't have the time to make it to the gym, so we don't have gym memberships.  We both do all of our workouts at home.

Any how, you definitely do not need to purchase all of that equipment to workout at home!  You just need a few items to get started and you can have a killer workout!!

Here is what I suggest you purchase for a revamp of healthy living!

Exercise equipment:

Stability ball

Weights 5, 10, 15 pounds are a great place to start.

Exercise bands

I love using these, especially for my legs!  They are small enough that you can travel with them too!!!

Depending on how many weights you buy, you can purchase all of this for under $100!!  That is the bare minimum.

I also recommend these, but they aren't necessary, so if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, purchase these down the road!

Bosu Ball

We have had this for a while, and I have to say I use it weekly.  There are so many ways to incorporate this into your workouts!

Mini Rebounder Trampoline

I love incorporating this in between my heavy lifts!  It has so many health benefits as well!!

MIndful Practice is a big part of my training.  It is a necessity.

Journals--Journaling is a big practice of mine.  It helps me stay true to myself, release feelings, and stay connected to who I truly am.  I'm a bit of a journal junkie and have them all over my house.  These moleskin journals are my favorite.  They thin enough to stick in your purse, but have enough pages to use often.

Favorite quick morning book for intentions--If you follow me on Insta-Stories, you have seen me post these ever so often.  Holy Shift is a perfect book to open to the day and read the excerpt from A Course In Miracles to get your mind in the right place.

Food Prep Options--I'm all about making life easier, while staying as organic as possible, and as inexpensive as possible!

This food scale is extremely helpful when learning your food portions.  We need to learn exactly what the portions size looks like!

Thrive Market—this is where I get a lot of our organic items—best prices I have found anywhere!  Kensie follows a gluten and dairy free diet, and our household is mainly gluten free.  When buying snacks for Kensie, gluten free is definitely not cheap--this site certainly makes it more affordable.  Click the link below to receive a free trial!!

Protein shakes and bars are a necessity to have on hand.  I'm a big proponent of variety of food, and eating whole foods, but sometimes it's just not do-able!  Especially as a busy mom!!  Isagenix has been a part of our healthy living for almost 6 years!
