Top 10 books that will shift you life
top books that will change your life

So if you’re anything like me, you have a stack of books around you at all times. I love to learn, and I love to connect with authors in depth. Someday I know I’m destined to write a book, and while seeing some of my favorite authors write books it looks like one of the deepest work they have done. I know I’m always looking for a new book to feel inspired by and a new perspective to shift my outlook on life.

So here they are in no particular order.

1.

This book was a jaw dropper. And a book I plan to read again. It is a deep dive into the thoughts that we have on constant replay, and how to make this work for us instead of against us.

2.

I just read this book and I literally got chills when he dived into the pain points and why we respond in certain ways. This is a book that I will certainly read re-read and read again. It’s not just about finding your purpose, but to me it was more about showing up the way we want to show up in every space we are in.

3.

This book is a book that you will not want to put down. I love her writing style and her unique way of making us feel like we are not the only ones that go through seasons of struggle. So much shifted in the way I looked at life as a parent after I read this. What is important and what is not.

4.

The mother of all books. I feel like I’m due to read this book again. It is based on A Course in Miracles which I’m slowly getting through as we speak. This book is where this famous quote came from:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

It is a book of hope, inspiration, connection, and spiritual enlightenment. If you are just starting out down this path, this book is a must!

5.

It was really difficult to choose just one of Brene Brown’s book. She is by far my favorite author. I typically listen to her books as I really enjoy her voice and the stories she tells. This book will inspire you to take action and be brave. And if you haven’t heard yet….Brene has a motivational special coming out on Netflix on April 19th called The Call to Courage. I cannot wait!!!

6.

Ahhhhh Byron Katie and her teachings. “The Work” as she calls it is exactly what it is. Diving into the stories we constantly tell ourselves but actually questioning it. It’s certainly not easy, but gosh it makes us realize how much our own perception of our life can really hold us back from living the best life. Questioning those thoughts and figuring out what really is true.

7.

How to Hear Your Angels
By Doreen Virtue

I have to be honest. I’m not done with this book yet, but I’m really loving the set up of this one. It explains how to tap into your intuition and the different sounds that we hear. She goes through specifically each angel and what they can help with. This is a book that I will keep out for guidance after I’m finished reading it.

8.

This book. This book changed the way I looked at creating my goals and what I’m working towards. It gave me more connection to exactly what I desire in my life. She gives a deep step by step guide into your life and what your next steps will be according to your values. It’s a must read.

9.

I’ve shared this book before and I will again. This book was a book I really could not put down. I felt like he was speaking to my soul. It’s a beautiful marriage of nutrition, fitness, and spirituality and how they all work together.

10.

Of course I wasn’t going to get through this list without adding Gabby to the list! It’s difficult to just pick one of her books, but as of right now this is the most transforming book she has. It does exactly what is says with tangible work and relatable stories. I think that is what attracts me to her the most. When I saw her speak she told stories that were very relatable. She doesn’t claim to be perfect or to have it all figured out, but she shares how she digs herself out of situations that don’t feel good. If you are looking for a more simple read THIS BOOK was another one of my faves by her. I know she has a new book coming out September 24th called The Super Attractor. I can’t wait for that one!!!

If you have a book to add to this list, do share in the comments below! I’m always looking for a new book to grab!!!
